Following a number of incidents last year, we have introduced an additional security deposit of £200 for all community hall lets. The deposit will be collected prior to arrival and will be refunded in full, subject to the hall being left in a satisfactory condition after your booking.
Please note that deductions may be made from the deposit where there is evidence of any of the following:
Incorrect recycling or disposal of refuse.
Poor standard of cleanliness resulting in additional cleaning requirements, including inadequate cleaning of the kitchen or floors, and failure to return items to cupboards after use.
Electric heating (excluding storage heaters) being left switched on at departure.
Disrespectful or inappropriate behaviour towards our neighbours.
Excess guest numbers above the maximum permitted occupancy of 35 people, resulting in a breach of Fire and Safety guidelines.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain the hall to a high standard for all users. If you have any questions regarding these arrangements, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
